Guys, I have been STEWING on what the topic would be for this week's episode.I had a bunch of ideas mixed up in my head like the letters in alphabet soup.Then I looked outside and saw that it was quite CHILLI and the fog was rolling in like Cream of Mushroom and I had it! We could do top 5 ways to incorporate soup into the intro but seeing as I just crushed it on the first try I guess we could do Top 5 soups instead. So lets warm ourselves up and talk about some soup. Ah, youth. So many memories. We spent our school days dreaming of when we could finally be out of that hellhole, but even the least scholarly among us would have to admit that they now occasionally yearn for the simpler days. Of course we forget that they weren’t really simpler days; it wasn’t all back to school shopping and in-class movies. From our studies to family to our social lives: everything was brand new to us and the world was so big. We all had classes we hated, classes we tolerated, classes we took just because our friends all got together and voted on which elections to take that semester, and yes, we all had classes we actually liked. Today we’re going to activate the way-back machine and talk about our Top 5 Classes. To enhance discussion we didn’t share our lists with each other and by no means are we experts in said category. We are just a few dudes who like to talk about nonsense. To clarify, the rules here are intentionally vague. We were allowed to keep it broad and ranks subjects in school, or we could talk about a specific class we took at any level of education.

It is the first week after Thanksgiving or as it's also known the first week of Christmas. I'm kidding of course because we all know that started on October 31st at 11 pm. It is the holiday season and with the holiday season comes Christmas lights, Christmas songs and spending a lot of money on things you are kinda sorta sure is something they need. Does my dad need a new shop vac or is that what I got him last year? Today's topic is another thing that comes with the holiday season, we will be talking about our Top 5 Christmas movies. To be clear these movies have to be focused on Christmas, sorry Die Hard even though you are 100% a Christmas movie you can not be on this list. We are in a tough time with today’s economy. Inflation is through the roof, companies are having massive layoffs, and a large-scale recession is about to unleash. We are all looking for ways to save a few bucks here and there. As a big time deal hunter, I personally and frugally purchase things when they are on sale, learning also how to separate want vs need. It has helped me throughout life. However, many of us still struggle to find ways to save money. So that is why we are here today, to discuss our Top 5 Wastes of Money. American Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman said it best: War is hell, and its glory is all moonshine. Be that as it may, war movies and military movies are great for those big budget Summer blockbusters. It’s the closest most of us ever get to war and military life, and so there’s a natural fascination. It definitely captured my imagination as a kid—those were far and away my favorite movies. In honor of the recent Veterans Day here in America and Armistice Day everywhere else we’re going to discuss our Top 5 War Movies. Is there anything worse than someone at a party going on and on about their fantasy football team? I can hear them now…I was fourth in points but also had the most points against! I scored the second most points this week but played the one team that scored more! My team is the best team on paper despite my 2-7 record! Annoying right? Well shut up! Those are literally all facts, at least to me, about my team this week and its the most important thing in the history of the world. Sugar, doot doot doot doot doot doo. You are my candy boys and you got me wanting you. Halloween is great for so many reasons. One of those gigantic reasons comes in the smallest size, in fact one would call it a fun size. Millions of kids every year have the tough decision to perform a Trick or elect for a Treat, with most going for the latter. But which fun size Halloween candy is the best? Today we are discussing our Top 5 Halloween Candies. To clarify, these can NOT be king size or full size bars because that would just be basic candy. Guys, it’s still spooky season, and I didn’t quite get enough of that sort of chat last week. Merriam-Webster defines the term ‘monster’ in many ways, but chief among them are “an animal of strange or terrifying shape,” “one unusually large for its kind,” “an animal or plant of abnormal form or structure,” “one who deviates from normal or acceptable behavior or character,” “a threatening force.” The reason there’s so many definitions is because there’s so many ways in which we interpret monsters. A ‘Monster’ is not narrowly defined by it's aesthetics. It is by its very nature unordinary, unnatural and malignant within. Monsters defy all other forms of categorization and convention. Monsters are so rare they’re almost impossible to imagine, so therein lies their predatory advantage. You can’t believe they’re right there in front of your face even when it’s happening. They are the residents of nightmares, and so we tell ourselves they are not real. Well, real or not, singular or collective, it doesn’t matter folks, because we’re staying on theme this week to discuss our Top 5 Monsters.
